Seek the Lord in Fear - 5/26/20

Today, I felt a bit of angst in my spirit as tomorrow I start my new job after being laid off for the past month and a half. Inspite of that I felt that it would be appropriate for me to pour into my spirit some reaffirming and calming scripture to pull my head out of the depths. So, I went with Psalm 34, in this passage it speaks about two very distinct types of fear. The first type of fear is the kind we face that brings about doubt, anxiety, depression, and can paralyze you in the most important moments of life. The second type of fear is the kind that produces high regard, respect, trust, and praise for our Lord and Heavenly Father. The cool thing about the second type of fear, is that 10/10 when we seek fear in the Lord it always negates our Earthly fears. The Lord promises to deliver us from our troubles as long as we have our allegiance fully to Him. So, seek Him that you might find peace and deliverance in this day!

Supporting Scripture:
Psalm 34:7-9
"7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. 8 Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.9 Fear the Lord, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing."

Have a blessed day! 🙂
