True Reliance - 9/18/20

Hello Family, this week I have truly had to rely on the Lord. It has been filled with ups and downs, twists and turns, and just longer days than I expected. That being said, I know many of you guys have experienced some of the same at varying levels, some better and some worse. I am reaching out in a spirit of genuine care and prayer today to combat the lies and the efforts of the Devil to keep the power of Christ away.  But before we dive in let's talk to the Father...

TODAY'S PRAYER:
"Dear Heavenly Father, today we come to you so incredibly thankful that we can come to You with open arms and our luggage chocked full of all of our worries and frustrations and can leave them at Your feet. We thank You for always meeting us where we're at or giving us the strength to meet You where You want us to meet You at. Today, Lord, we need Your guidance, Your strength, Your peace, Your Grace, and most of all Your presence to get us to the place You want us to be. We love You and praise You evermore, in Jesus Christ name we pray, Amen."

Today, I don't plan to write as I usually do, today I believe I hear the Lord saying that He wants us to reach out to make an effort that does not come naturally to some. He is calling me to ask of you that you spend time in intimate prayer, time in the word, time talking with other people about the conversations you've been having with God and the things you have learned from your time in the Word. THIS IS NOT A QUICK PROCESS. Don't be afraid to stretch this task throughout the weekend or longer. The things in life that are meaningful often take more than a few hours to complete.

SUPPORTING SCRIPTURE
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. "
Psalms 46:1‭-‬3 NIV

"But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. "
1 Peter 3:15‭-‬16 NIV

Have a blessed day! 🙂
