A STUDIOUS LIFE
Hey Family, today I want to talk to you about something that we all have been formally introduced to at one point or another, and that is the act of being or becoming a student. The Bible speaks on this in a variety ways and places through out it's Scriptures, but before we delve into the details, let's bring this topic and our day to the Lord.

TODAY'S PRAYER
"Dear Heavenly Father, today we come to You thankful for another work week passed and a weekend of fellowship, worship and hopefully relaxation that will soon be upon us. Regarding today's topic, we are so thankful that You have given us minds that are malleable enough to be shaped and reshaped by new information that is given to or sought out by us. This ability gives us the opportunity to create a deep and meaningful relationship with You. However, we also come to You with a repentant heart for all the times we knew what we must do or ought to do, yet chose to go in the opposite direction of Your will. Lord, create in us an unshakable desire to learn and be students of You and all Your ways, that our path might be made straight in Your eyes. In Jesus Christ name we pray, Amen."

The Importance of Knowledge and Wisdom
Proverbs 1:2‭-‬7 NIV
for gaining wisdom and instruction; for understanding words of insight; for receiving instruction in prudent behavior, doing what is right and just and fair; for giving prudence to those who are simple, knowledge and discretion to the young— let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance— for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. "

What To Ponder On
Philippians 4:8‭-‬9 NIV
"Finally , brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. "

The Call to Teach Others
Colossians 3:16‭-‬17 NIV
"Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. "

THE MESSAGE
You see family, the Lord has called each one of us to take on the persona of a student, whether it's regarding work, actual school, as well as in our pursuit of Christ. And It's up to us to take this to heart and fully commit to said persona each and every day. Have a blessed day and remember that the learning never stops! 🙂
