Planting a Seed - 11/9/20

Planting the Seed
Hey family, on this beautiful Monday, let's take a second to breathe in the realization that we have a FULL week of opportunities to grow, bless, love, and pour into others, and rest assured that with the Lord's will and power in play that He can work in and through you.

TODAY'S PRAYER
"Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for a new week filled with new opportunities to speak into others, plant the seeds of the Kingdom, and hopefully bring them closer to you. Lord, I know that some of us may have a fear to bring You or talk of your Kingdom up to those we are unsure if they have a relationship with You. But You did not give us a spirit of fear, rather one of boldness, strength, love, and peace. Help us to truly know that with every fiber of our being and live it out each day. In Jesus Christ name we pray, AMEN!"

SCRIPTURE
A Call to All
Matthew 28:18‭-‬20 NIV
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Only a Select Few will Truly Hear
Matthew 13:3‭-‬9 NIV
Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Whoever has ears, let them hear.”

Quote of the Day
"The power of God has never left His Word; it is just that we have prevented it from reaching its intended destination. The more we “feast” and partake of the Word of God, the “fatter” we get; and without releasing it to our neighbors, the more slothful and content we become."
