Reciprocity Among Believers - 12/12/20
Reciprocity Among Believers
Hey Family, today as I woke up, I was met with a spirit of reciprocal love by my beautiful wife and our kid. I was given a hot breakfast in bed, warm cider and some time to just reflect and pray on the blessings that God has given me. Now, these things aren't expected by any means, but they sure are a treat when they happen. God often treats us to blessings far greater than what we ought to give Him more credit for. So, let us go to the Father with hearts of praise and gratitude.TODAY'S PRAYER (personal)
"Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You today with a heart full of praise, thanking You for how you have orchestrated my life. I praise You for all the lows of life that have taught me wisdom, joy in all circumstances, patience, contentment, and deep inner strength. And praise You for the highs of life that have given me faith that no matter the storm, Your mighty hand is ALWAYS at work leading me to a better place to better glorify You and Your Kingdom. Help me and my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to never lose sight of that, and to know that You will never change in that. In Jesus Christ name we pray, AMEN."
SCRIPTURE
You Get What You Ask For
Matthew 7:7-12 NIV
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

Patiently Waiting for our Treasure
Romans 8:22-27 NIV
"We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

Quote of the Day
" Reciprocity is not always sequencial; it can skip beats; take time to regroup to figure out the best way to show it's true face. Reciprocity comes with many feelings and actions that don't always come at a time or place we would expect it to. So, be patient and know that in it's good time it will come."

Have a blessed day! 🙂
