A Constant Fire - 2/25/21

Hey Family, it's been a bit of a rough week, but the Lord is still faithful and I have kept the faith. With that faith I have kept my eyes and ears open, which has allowed me to see His mighty work and carry a flame for Him wherever I have gone.

Today's Prayer

"Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for another day of life, another day to bring glory, honor, and praise to You, and another day to be a witness to You and show case the fire that You have put within us. We humbly ask that You might grant us the boldness and courage to carry a constant flame for You for all the of the world to see. Thank you for Your Holy word and the encouragement that it brings. To You be all the glory. In Jesus Christ's beautiful name, Amen."

Acts 8:1-8 NIV

"And Saul approved of their killing him. On that day a great persecution broke out against the church in Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria. Godly men buried Stephen and mourned deeply for him. But Saul began to destroy the church. Going from house to house, he dragged off both men and women and put them in prison. Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went. Philip went down to a city in Samaria and proclaimed the Messiah there. When the crowds heard Philip and saw the signs he performed, they all paid close attention to what he said. For with shrieks, impure spirits came out of many, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed. So there was great joy in that city. "

"For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God. He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, "
