The Gift of Life - 2/12/21

Hey Family, today my heart is a bit heavy, my Aunt Maxine passed away yesterday and although I wasn't close with her, a loss of a life is a loss of a life. In addition to that, with my job I see a lot of people who have given up on life long before their lives are up. The point is, God decides what happens in our lives from beginning to end, not us. So, when we try to take things into our hands, let's just say the results become fairly messy. 

Today's Prayer

"Dear Heavenly Father, You have given us many things food, shelter, clothing, but most importantly you gave us life when Your one and only Son, Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and salvation. And one thing I do know, is that when a gift such as life is given to us, You expect that as Your children we would use it to honor you, bring glory to the Kingdom and to love others with love of Christ. Lord, help us to recognize just how precious our lives and to remove any notion in our minds that this life is truly ours, but in fact it is Yours. In Jesus Christ name we pray, Amen."
