Binding and Loosing - 10/12/21

Binding and Loosing

Hey family, today in my prayer time the topic of binding and loosing came to mind. And I read in the scriptures to follow, that when aligned with His will, we have the ability through Christ to bind (forbid) and loose (permit) various Earthly acts that the Lord will support in His own discretion. This gift from God is not for us to overlook. This is evidence that when we abide in Him, He blesses us with authority in His name.

Today's Prayer
"Dear Heavenly Father, today we give You the utmost thanks and praise for the gift of  authority in You. When we abide in You, You give us the ability to showcase the Holy Spirit's power to bind and loose the things of this Earth. You didn't have to do that, but You love and cherish so much that You blessed us in such a way. All glory and honor and praise to the King of Kings, Amen."

Scripture
Abiding Grants Authority
Matthew 16:24-30
"When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Then he ordered his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah."

Community and Confirmation
Matthew 18:15-20
“If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’ If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector. “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

Asking Without Doubt
James 1:5-8
"If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do."

Quote of the Day
"Anytime you pray serious prayers and have attacks in your dream, know that the prayers worked. So what you should do is to continue with the same prayers."
