His Overwhelming Peace - 10/6/21

His Overwhelming Peace

Hey Family, when I woke up this morning the first thought that I had was about just how thankful and grateful I am for the peace that Christ promises for our hearts. And when we as Christians partake in it and believe in it, without doubt, we can receive peace that is beyond our human understanding. So my question to you is, "Are you willing, right now, to partake in the beautiful gift of peace that Christ has to offer?"

Today's Prayer
"Dear Heavenly Father, there are so many things that we could spend our time and energy worrying about and toiling over in this life, but You gave us Christ's peace as a loophole, an antidote, and a supernatural gift that we can all access to alleviate the pressures and pain of this life. For those who think it is a joke, Lord, please open their eyes and hearts to the reality that You can create for the. For those who have already experienced the blessings of His peace, I pray that You might experience it more and at a greater depth and understanding. In all glory, honor, and high praise we lift up the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."

Scripture
Peace that Surpasses All
Philippians 4:4‭-‬7
"Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Putting on Christ's Love and Peace
Colossians 3:14‭-‬16
"But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."

Quote of the Day
The peace of Christ doesn't merely allow us to get over minor grievances and everyday Earthly troubles. It gives our hearts unexplainable peace. Peace that Earthly logic and wisdom cannot comprehend. That is why we must pursue Christ with our whole hearts to get the whole blessing.

Have a blessed day! 🙂
