The Light of Christ for All
Hey Family, today I am pressed and confident to exclaim that in this life whether in faith, in marriage, in work, in family and so much more there has to be transparency. It is no secret that in this life coming into most situations being dishonest and tell half-truths is not most ideal and often least effective approach. If you are struggling with feeling isolated and in the dark, maybe, seek out the body of Christ for love, support, and direction, but if you're feeling deeply depressed, anxious, and suicidal, especially as the holidays approach us quickly I strongly recommend calling the suicide prevention hotline: 800-273-8255 in addition to the body of Christ.

Today's Prayer
"Dear Heavenly Father, I recognize that for many, the holidays can be a very dark time, but I also recognize even more that when Christ came to earth in the form of a little baby that He brought forth unshakable hope, light in the darkness, and salvation for all who believe in Him. So, Lord, for those who deeply struggle during this time, I pray that You would open their eyes to the light of Christ and have it shine brighter than their own darkness. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, Amen."

Scripture
His Light is Greater
1 John 1:5‭-‬10
"This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us."

Quote of the Day
"The fires of refinement will shine the light of Christ into the dark places of our hearts, burn off the chaff, and restore us to a state of greater purity."
- Robin Bertram

Have a blessed day! 🙂
