Remaining Faithful and Seeking Truth

Hey Family, today I am realizing how easy it can be for our minds and hearts to stray from what we know is true and holy. The world has many blaring sirens that aim to draw our attention away from Christ and the Devil has many schemes in hopes to manipulate and skew our thinking. However, when we catch ourselves beginning to be tangled in either of these nets, we have the privilege, blessing, and obligation to call on Jesus Christ and His body to help pulls us free from the enemy every time! How cool is that?!

Today's Prayer

"Dear Heavenly Father, this life can be alluring and enticing and is chocked full of fleeting pleasure, but we have to remember this is earth is not our forever home and the materialistic things we can obtain and the awards and accolades that we can accumulate WILL NOT and CAN NOT be taken with us in the end. Lord, help us to remember that where our hearts are there lies our treasure, and that our true and perfect treasure lies with You in heaven. In Christ Jesus name we pray, Amen."
