Christ's Redemptive Power - 7/26/22

Christ's Redemptive Power
Hey Family, today I am praising God that even in the most unlikely circumstances He has been victorious in and through the underdogs of this life. From the Biblical days of David and Goliath to the agencies and businesses that have no logical reason to believe that they can make a significant, positive impact on society, but by God's grace they do. If you are feeling the weight of being unequipped, unprepared, broken, or worthless remember that God's power is made perfect in our weakness.

Scripture
"Dear Heavenly Father, You have blessed us with your grace and mercy by being a Father that meets us where we are at. You don't demand perfection, You only ask for us to put our entire hope, trust, and heart in Your hands. In this act of devotion, You have moved many mountains for me and many others. I pray, Lord, that You would reveal Yourself to the lost, the broken-hearted, those struggling with addiction, and those who have, in some sense, thrown their lives away. I pray that You might redeem their lives from the pit. I know full-heartedly that You can do this Lord. To the One who can do immeasurably more than we could ever ask or imagine, I humbly submit this prayer in Jesus Christ's beautiful name, Amen."

Scripture
He is Our Redeemer
Psalms 107:1‭-‬14
"Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story— those he redeemed from the hand of the foe, those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south. Some wandered in desert wastelands, finding no way to a city where they could settle. They were hungry and thirsty, and their lives ebbed away. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle. Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. Some sat in darkness, in utter darkness, prisoners suffering in iron chains, because they rebelled against God’s commands and despised the plans of the Most High. So he subjected them to bitter labor; they stumbled, and there was no one to help. Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains."

Quote of the Day
"God creates out of nothing. Wonderful you say. Yes, to be sure, but he does what is still more wonderful: he makes saints out of sinners."
- Soren Kierkegaard

Have a blessed day! 🙂
