Resilient by God's Grace - 8/6/22

Resilient by God's Grace
Hey Family, this week has been a WEEK, but by the grace of God, He has sustained me through the storm. We all go through storms, and as the old saying goes, "In life, you're either going through a storm or coming out of one." The beautiful thing about abiding in Christ is that He has dominion over the storm, He refines us through it and makes us stronger for storms to come.

Today's Prayer
"Dear Heavenly Father, You make storms and sometimes You allow them to happen. You always have a divine purpose and plan in place regardless of if we get the full scope of Your handy work. However, the fact of the matter is that You sustain Your children to fulfill the work and life's call that You have set before them. I pray that today, You would continue to uplift, empower, and equip Your children with the tools necessary for this life and bring the Kingdom of God a little closer each day. You are a faithful God whom I fully trust and love, and I pray that many more will come to do the same. May the word of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer, Amen."

Scripture
Refined by the Trials
James 1:2‭-‬8
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do."

Quote of the Day
"Has anyone ever said to you, “God never gives you more than you can bear?” Don’t you hate that? That’s because it’s not true. Sometimes, God gives us far more than we can bear so that, by our prayer and the prayer of others, we will rely on Him only, so that when God delivers us, we will be comforted. With stronger faith, we can comfort others when they are going through their trials."

Have a blessed day! 🙂
