He Hears Our Prayers - 10/11/22
Hey Family, today I want to start off by saying that the God of Heaven and Earth, our Creator, our Savior, the lover of our soul, hears us in our cry and call. He responds in His perfect timing, which usually does not line up with our presumed timeline, BUT the one thing that we can find perfect peace in is knowing that He is our faithful God and our truth worthy Father in Heaven.
Today's Prayer
"Dear Heavenly Father, You have given us ears to hear and since we are made in Your image, we know that You have spiritual ears to hear Your children as well. Lord, help us to have patience, joy, and anticipation while we wait for Your perfect response to all that we call on You for. And in receiving Your yes or no or wait, I pray that You would create in us a content and filled up heart and heed the knowledge that You give because we know that whatever You decide is for our best interest and any knowledge You give is worth keeping close to hearts. So, Lord, we love You and we praise Your great name. Help us live and love more like You in Jesus Christ's beautiful name we pray, Amen."
Scripture
Psalms 66:17-20
"I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue. If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; but God has surely listened and has heard my prayer. Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!"
Luke 11:9-13
“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
1 John 5:13-15
"I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him."
Quote of the Day
"We never know how God will answer our prayers, but we can expect that He will get us involved in His plan for the answer. If we are true intercessors, we must be ready to take part in God’s work on behalf of the people for whom we pray."
- Corrie ten Boom
Have a blessed day! 🙂
