Our Source

Hey Family, I want to take some time today to discuss and remember that Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, holds all that is good and great in this life. And although it may seem like the tangible things of this life are the bread and butter, the meat and potatoes, or the brick and mortar which sustains our daily lives, it is God. Why? Because from His hand comes everything good and perfect. Yes, there are nuances and indirect occurrences that happen to and around us, BUT God is and always will be our One True Source. Can I get an Amen?

Today's Prayer

"Dear Heavenly Father, I hate to admit this, but there have been seasons in my life where I dared to compete with You in becoming the source of all things good and great in mine. Maybe not in my words, but most definitely in my deeds. My deeds said, 'I am self-sufficient and anything that You give to me is largely supplementary.' The reality is: You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and Source, and since You are the One who sustains me, I can do nothing independent of Your power and grace. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O Lord, my Strength and my Redeemer, Amen."

Psalms 62:1‭-‬12

"Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. How long will you assault me? With their mouths they bless, but in their hearts they curse. Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
