Songs of His Faithfulness - 2/21/23
Hey Family, today, even though I'm feeling a little tired, I have a song in my heart praising God for His faithfulness through EVERY single chapter and season. When my God shows up, He shows up with power that none can stand against. And He uses that power to make His good and perfect will come to fruition for His glory and our good.
Scripture
It's All His
1 Chronicles 29:10-13
"David praised the Lord in the presence of the whole assembly, saying, “Praise be to you, Lord, the God of our father Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Yours, the Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, the Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name."
He Gives Us All That We Need
Isaiah 25:1-4a
"Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago. You have made the city a heap of rubble, the fortified town a ruin, the foreigners’ stronghold a city no more; it will never be rebuilt. Therefore strong peoples will honor you; cities of ruthless nations will revere you. You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in their distress, a shelter from the storm, and a shade from the heat."
Today's Prayer
"Dear Heavenly Father, I can't think about my life and not see the direct parallels of Your mighty works throughout it. And without the mighty work of Jesus Christ on the Cross we would have no hope or promise for living a life worthy of the Gospel. So, Lord, we need You more than ever to show us the way, the truth, and the life by the means of Your word and power. May the words of my mouth and the meditation heart be pleasing to the sight, O Lord, my Rock, and my Strength, Amen."
Quote of the Day
"Faith deals with the invisible things of God. It refuses to be ruled by the physical senses. Faith can say, 'You can do what you like because I know God is going to take care of me. He has promised to bless me wherever he leads me.' Remember that even when every demon in hell stands against us, the God of Abraham remains faithful to all his promises. Jesus Christ can do anything but fail his people who trust him."

Have a blessed day! 🙂
