Don't Fix The Devil's Plate - 12/23/23
Hey Family, I've been reflecting on how I can be a better Christ-follower, husband, friend, and co-worker. One of the ways I am striving to do this is by not actively choosing to feed Satan a spiritually well-rounded meal. A "heaping plate" for the Enemy looks like keeping grudges, lack of unity in the body, toxic isolation, bitterness and anger, choosing ignorance, refusing to show grace, forgoing imparting hope, and shying away from sharing the Gospel/ praying for others on the spot, to name a few. By avoiding these we give Satan less and less of an opportunity to take advantage of us.

Today's Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, it can be SO easy, almost second nature, to actively let Satan in and do his best work in and through our lives. Also, it can feel so right and justified to let him do that work, but as Christ-followers we know full well that the fruit of the Enemy won't last and won't sustain us. So, Lord give us Your life-sustaining fruit and help us to choose the narrow path that leads to life in the full. In Christ Jesus name we pray, Amen."
