Omnipresent Church - 12/02/20

Omnipresent Church
Hey family, today I want to you about yesterday. Yesterday, I began my first day of working remotely and due to that I feel it it's appropriate to address the importantance of keeping up my definition of the omnipresent church. And simply put, this recognizes that 'church' is wherever you bring it. And when you genuinely pray to the Lord, sing songs of worship, read the Bible for understanding and put it's precepts into practice, the spirit of church is richly among you.

TODAY'S PRAYER
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You recognizing that the Church to You is less of a building or specified event held at certain time, but rather brought about with an intentional relationship with You. For some this will be difficult to stomach because it's not what they saw or were taught while growing up. But You, Lord, have and always will call us to do more for the sake of Your name and Your Kingdom. Engrain in us a desire to have 'Church' wherever You and the body of Christ resides. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, AMEN!"

SCRIPTURE
It Only Takes a Few
Matthew 18:18‭-‬20 NIV
“Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

Each of us are Different BUT Essential
1 Corinthians 12:27‭-‬31 NIV
"Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues ? Do all interpret? Now eagerly desire the greater gifts. And yet I will show you the most excellent way. "

Bring the Church Wherever You Go
Matthew 28:16‭-‬20 NIV
"Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Quote of the Day
"We often forget what an honor it is that God would offer relationship. We can get so accustomed to people begging us to follow God that we forget what a miracle it is that we are invited."
- Francis Chan

Have a blessed day! 🙂
