Meditating in the Spirit - 1/21/21
Hey Family, I am so excited that I actually took the time to meditate on some scripture this morning. And the cool thing is that I read through this same passage yesterday! You may think, "What's the big deal about that?" Well, I know that many people will read through a scripture once and consider it checked off the box, BUT I believe that the Lord calls us to go deeper and to know His word deeper. In order to do that we must spend a precious commodity called time.
Today's Prayer
"Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You rejoicing in the nudges that You give us to spend time with and to grow closer to You. There so many voices and so much noise in our lives that try to drown You out Lord. I plead that You might break through it all and speak directly to my heart and help me to hear and know You above all else! In Jesus Christ name I pray, Amen."

Blessings from Meditation
Psalms 1:1-6 NIV
"Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord , and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers. Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction."
Quote of the Day
"The first moments of the new day are not the time for our own plans and worries, not even for our zeal to accomplish our own work, but for God’s liberating grace, God’s sanctifying presence."
- Dietrich Bonhoeffer
Have a blessed day! 🙂
