A Redeemed Past for His Future Glory

Hey Family, today I want you to think about this question, "To what extent has my past affected my present, and how is that shaping my daily-approaching future? This may seem a bit existential, but I'm asking it to encourage you to stay aware of anything that may be lurking beneath the surface that needs addressing.

Today's Prayer

"Dear Heavenly Father, I am a fool if I were to believe that as a human, my past did not in some way affect the way that I interact with and understand the world. However, You have called us to take on a New Life and a New Understanding. One that is counter cultural, and at face value to many it may seem downright stupid. But You said in 1 Corinthians 1:18-19, that to the world the Cross just doesn't makes sense to abide in, but to those being saved by it, it is God's true power. Humbly I ask that You might bless us with the confidence to walk boldly in You and Your precepts. In Jesus Christ's beautiful name I pray, Amen."
