Christ, the Rock I Stand On - 4/6/21

Hey Family, today I want to address the notion of choosing Jesus Christ before and over everything else. Many people believe that you can and even should be able to seemlessly pick and choose just how much Jesus is really needed per the situation, but in fact He is needed in EVERY situation. When we build every entity of our lives around Jesus we are blessed to seem Him work in ever entity as well. 

Today Prayer 

"Dear Heavenly Father, today I come to You with a burdened mind and heart over a few different things, but it is mainly for the world and those I know of who are not truly abiding in You. Lord, You know my heart and I do not feel this way out of vanity, wishing only to see a certain type of person or hear a certain message spoken, but that I truly do care about the salvation of souls and their eternity spent with You. Calm my anxious soul, Lord, I know that when Christ died on the cross that He took this specific burden off of us and placed it upon Himself. In Jesus Christ's beautiful name I pray, Amen."

"Now  faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. By faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did.
