Building Your Spiritual A-Team

Hey Family, last night the thought dawned on me that over the past couple years and even moreso in the past few months, I have been building my A-Team. A team that is ready to help in almost any and every situation and one that proves to care not just about Jackie and I's physical needs, but also our spiritual needs. Throughout life and the Bible, the body of Christ has been called to unity in the same way. We were not meant to lead a life of solidarity, so if you haven't, start building your A-Team today!

Today's Prayer
"Dear Heavenly Father, You have orchestrated and developed specific people in our lives to be a part of our 'team'. Please, Lord gives us the discernment to make wise choices as we acquire those who will support us in our tangible needs and spur us forward in the Spirit with all prayers and intercession. And at the end of the day, help us to have faith and wisdom to know when or when to not lean on the strength and understanding of our fellow brothers and sisters, but rather the strength and understanding of You. In Jesus Christ beautiful name we pray, Amen."

Scripture
The Lord Should Build Your Team
Psalm 127:1‭-‬2 ESV
"Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep."

Main Purpose of a Team
Ecclesiastes 4:9‭-‬12 ESV
"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken."

Be Exemplary Within Your Team
1 Peter 5:2‭-‬4 ESV
"shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory."

Quote of the Day
The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team.
