The Joy of the Lord

Hey Family, today I am tired, BUT I have the joy of the Lord and the Holy Spirit running through me and sometimes that's all that you need to keep on moving in this life.

Today's Prayer
"Dear Heavenly Father, You see our earthly struggles. Your Son, Jesus Christ, experienced many trials, even death on the Cross. So, for that You hear our cry and You respond with compassion and unfailing love. Through Your love, compassion, peace, joy, strength, and the Spirit given, You bring us out of the depths. You give us strength when we are weak. You soften our hearts even when the world can't fathom it. Ultimately, You show us and the world that You reign above all else and are worthy to be praised. So, please help us to bring to bring that joy and the good news of the Gospel into the world daily. To God be all the glory; I joyfully submit this prayer, in Jesus Christ's beautiful name we pray, Amen."

Scripture
Inexpressible Joy
1 Peter 1:6‭-‬9 ESV
"In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls."

All Joy and Hope
Romans 15:8‭-‬13 ESV
"For I tell you that Christ became a servant to the circumcised to show God's truthfulness, in order to confirm the promises given to the patriarchs, and in order that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written, "Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles, and sing to your name." And again it is said, "Rejoice, O Gentiles, with his people." And again, "Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles, and let all the peoples extol him." And again Isaiah says, "The root of Jesse will come, even he who arises to rule the Gentiles; in him will the Gentiles hope." May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."

Proclaim His Joy
Isaiah 12:3‭-‬6 ESV
"With  joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. And you will say in that day: "Give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted. "Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth. Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel."

Quote of the Day
"They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for."
- Tom Bodett

*Not a part of the Quote but had to add this.*
• Someone to love = Jesus Christ and your neighbor
• Something to do = Proclaim the Gospel and create disciples
• Something to hope for = Jesus Christ's return and eternity with the King

Have a blessed day! 🙂
