Child-like Faith

Hey Family, today the Lord put on my heart the topic of having the faith of a child, and that in order to enter the kingdom of Heaven we must have similar faith. Why? Because children often trust without fear, they rarely over complicate things, and when they think something needs to be said then they just say it with no inhibitions. 

Today's Prayer

"Dear Heavenly Father, today and forevermore, make us children of the Gospel and the faith. Helps us to preach the Gospel without inhibitions and unnecessary drama. Help us to keep our faith simple and our prayers genuine. And just as a child blindly trusts and depends on his or her parents, help us to have no fear and hold nothing back as we trust in You on a daily basis. In Jesus Christ's beautiful name we pray, Amen."

Greatest in the Kingdom

Matthew 18:1‭-‬6 ESV

"At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, "Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?" And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, "Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. "Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea."

The Children are Welcome

Mark 10:13‭-‬16 ESV

"And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, "Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it." And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them."
