The Power Received from Surrendering

Hey family, today I just want to bring recognition to the fact that when we surrender our lives in every area to Jesus Christ, we make ourselves fully available to receive the unmatched power of the Holy Spirit. This daily act of surrender will take humility, grace, strength, discipline, self-denial, deep love for the Lord AND fear of the Lord. We cannot do this task alone, so our best chance to stay consistent is to abide within the body of Christ for accountability and encouragement.

Today's Prayer

"Dear Heavenly Father, I'll be honest the word 'surrender' does not leave a pleasant taste in my mouth nor the mouths of many others, but when we take a good look at what we make ourselves available to when we do, who wouldn't want to surrender to You? That being said, surrendering is not innately a comfortable thing to do so please ,Lord, give us Your comfort, peace, strength, wisdom and guidance as we walk the path that You have set specifically for us! In Jesus Christ's beautiful name we pray, Amen."
