Inviting Christ into Your Heart

Hey family, today I want to start things off with two questions, "Is Christ in your heart? If so, how do you know?" These questions and the answers that you give will give you a gauge of whether you need to make some slight adjustments to your life or a complete 180° life turn around.

Today's Prayer
"Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for being so good to us. You know our hearts and deeply desire for us to invite You into them. When we invite You in we receive Your peace that surpasses our earthly understanding and Your promise of eternity with You in heaven in the end. This gift that You have given us is more than we could ever fully comprehend and for we give You all the glory and honor and praise, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, Amen."

Open the Door for Him
Revelation 3:20‭-‬22
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."

Truly Accepting Him
Romans 10:6‭-‬12
"But the righteousness based on faith says, "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'" (that is, to bring Christ down) "or 'Who will descend into the abyss?'" (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, "Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame." For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him."

Quote of the Day
"The irony is that while God doesn’t need us but still wants us, we desperately need God but don’t really want Him most of the time."
- Francis Chan

Have a blessed day! 🙂
