Walk with Integrity - 4/8/22

Walk with Integrity
Hey Family, over the past few months I have been striving to live a life of increased integrity. This is not me saying that I lived a life of secrecy and deception before then, but I am saying that there is always room from improvement. This is especially true as it relates to Jesus Christ and bringing His full truth of the Word to all who will listen.

Today's Prayer
"Dear Heavenly Father, You call us to live a life of truth in all circumstances. Whether we gain praises or curses, the truth will set us free. Give us strength and courage and confidence, Father, when the Enemy tries to convince us that more people will benefit, especially ourselves, if we were to lie or omit certain details from Your Work and our testimony. Open our eyes to see the full benefit that the truth often brings. Then help us to walk boldly in Your footsteps to walk by faith, integrity and by the light of the Cross. I pray this prayer in the utmost joy and confidence, in Christ Jesus name we pray, Amen."

Scripture
The Pursuit of Integrity
Psalm 101:1‭-‬8
"I will sing of steadfast love and justice; to you, O Lord, I will make music. I will ponder the way that is blameless. Oh when will you come to me? I will walk with integrity of heart within my house; I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless. I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me. A perverse heart shall be far from me; I will know nothing of evil. Whoever slanders his neighbor secretly I will destroy. Whoever has a haughty look and an arrogant heart I will not endure. I will look with favor on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks in the way that is blameless shall minister to me. No one who practices deceit shall dwell in my house; no one who utters lies shall continue before my eyes. Morning by morning I will destroy all the wicked in the land, cutting off all the evildoers from the city of the Lord."

Quote of the Day
"I prefer to surround myself with people who reveal their imperfection, rather than people who fake their perfection."
-  Charles F. Glassman
