In my experience, God usually guides people through life's situations with whispers and knocks on the doors presented to us, rather than yelling and kicking the door in. Although, sometimes we would all appreciate every once in awhile a blaring intercom voice to come on and say, "Hey you! Yeah you! Don't choose that path, the best path is this one!" But often God works in much softer and more subtle ways than that. Is it a blessing that He guides us at all? Absolutely! But in that guidance we still have to play our part, which consists of us using our active listening and observation skills to see how the Lord is prompting us and how He is moving in our individual situations to eventually bless us. Today my prayer for you, is that the Lord might give you the ears to hear, the eyes to see, and the mind and heart to interpret how the Lord is working in your life and what He desires of you at this very moment.
