A Risk of Falling - 7/8/20

Good morning family, today the Lord placed it upon my heart that due to the climate of our world and our nation that some of you may be at risk of falling back or deeper into Worldly lifestyles. When this does occur we often trap ourselves in a loop of destruction and repentance, which leaves us in an infantile state of faith. This state is often full of the ground-zero essentials of faith, such as repentance, basic faith in God, recognition of the resurrection, and eternal judgement, but not much more. You see family, God, the body of Christ, and His Heavenly Kingdom is so much more than all of those things, but when we refuse to dig deeper in the Lord to find something more substantial, we fail to find the life, maturity, and promises that the Lord has assured for us. We need take back what the enemy tried to use for evil and with the Lord's help turn it into a powerful testimony!

It reads in Hebrew 6:1-3; 9-12:

v 1-3

"Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, instruction about cleansing rites, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. And God permitting, we will do so"…

v 9-12

"Even though we speak like this, dear friends, we are convinced of better things in your case—the things that have to do with salvation. God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized. We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised."
