Tested and Approved - 8/3/20
"Dear Lord, thank you for another day that we get the opportunity to see more and more proof that You are present, powerful, and working on our behalf. Lord, sometimes the world tells us that we have to do everything under the sun and break our backs for the sake of humanity's praise and adoration, but that couldn't be further from the truth! Lord, we know that with You all we need is Your approval and Your blessing and our path is set in stone. Help us to trust You and the path you set in front of us. In Jesus Christ name we pray, Amen."
Today's message comes to us from the book of Daniel and in the first chapter it isn't focused on magnificent miracles and flashy attention grabbers, HOWEVER it is focused on four men of God who were Tested and Approved by God and man (King Nebuchadnezzar). And to no surprise they exceeded all Earthly expectations and rose through the ranks of the Earthly kingdom with ease. You see family, what God puts in place is tried and true and the people and things of this Earth can poke, prode, and test what the Lord has done, but it will always remain superior. God and all that He has established will ALWAYS come out on top!
Daniel 1:17-20 NIV
"To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds. At the end of the time set by the king to bring them into his service, the chief official presented them to Nebuchadnezzar. The king talked with them, and he found none equal to Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah; so they entered the king’s service. In every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king questioned them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters in his whole kingdom."
