God-given Gifts and Talents

Hey family, today I want to talk to you about the importantance of our God-given talents, and how if under utilized we will lose them possibly forever. The Lord equips for each and every mission, but if we choose to willing leave our "equipment" at home how can we be upset if we fail?

TODAY'S PRAYER

"Dear Heavenly Father, you have blessed us more than we will ever know. You give us strength, gifts, talents, and personalities, that of not seen immediately will come into positive play at the correct time in our lives. In a world filled with  comparison it can be so incredibly difficult to see how our gifts and talents could ever possibly shine in the light of others, but in seeking the purposes that You have for us we see just how much the Lord can do through us. Open our eyes, Lord, and help us to ourselves in the eyes of the true Beholder. In Jesus Christ name we pray, Amen!"

SCRIPTURE

Equal but Different Distribution

Romans 12:3‭-‬8 NIV

"For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. "

Gifts Giving Glory

1 Peter 4:10‭-‬11 NIV

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. "

Family, we ought to be honored by whatever God has given us, because as believers we know without a doubt that God does not waste anything in His Creation. There is ALWAYS a specific purpose intended. Go into this week with grace and peace knowing that the Lord can and will use you. Have a blessed day! 🙂
