Abundant Grace - 4/13/21

Hey Family, today the Lord dropped in my spirit the recognition of His grace and the grace we ought to give. His grace is abundant, and there is evidence of this all throughout our daily lives. And as much grace has been given He calls us to have a continual outpouring of grace unto the body of Christ and beyond.

Today's Prayer
"Dear Heavenly Father, as someone who actively struggles with being critical of life and people, You know that I need Your grace and a heafty reminder to give grace. Giving love and grace isn't easy when we try to do it on our own, but through Christ's heart-changing blood and the work of the Holy Spirit, we don't have to do this whole grace thing alone. We humbly ask You today, Lord, that when You prompt us to give grace that we would not act with hesitation, but rather a sense of urgency. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, Amen."

Scripture
Our Struggles Know; An Outlet Given
Hebrews 4:14‭-‬16 NIV
"Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."

Letting Christ's Love and Grace Reign
Colossians 3:12‭-‬17 NIV
"Therefore , as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."

Quote of the Day
"When shame overwhelms us, grace still surrounds us."
